At Splicer Films, we believe in the power of stories to spark social action. Our films are crafted to move viewers, inspiring them to create positive change in their own communities. Through authentic human experiences, we empower audiences to build a better world—whether by leading their own social causes or by supporting the grassroots movements founded by the heroes in our docuseries.
Our mission is to galvanize changemakers to address urgent human rights issues. We shift the narrative by spotlighting underrepresented heroes and unheard voices, challenging stereotypes and fostering a more inclusive world. Through screenings and educational programs, Splicer Films is dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders to create lasting change.
As part of our social impact strategy, our business model distributes a percentage of our net profits directly to the social causes led by the heroes in our films.
SOCIAL CAUSE PARTNERSHIPS
Our mission is to tell stories of purpose and impact and inspire audiences to make a difference and support the causes spotlighted in the film.
We believe the power of storytelling can spark social advocacy, and move viewers to create positive change in their own communities. By screening FEAR NOT, we also aim to support the work by Evelyne Keomian and bring support to the organization she founded, The Karat School Project (KSP). Donating to KSP will support a child's education and families facing poverty and displacement.
Supportive Pillar Organization aims to raise funds to support these children and provide them with the necessary tools and resources needed to continue their education. Many of these children are out of school due to a lack of school fees, and basic school supplies such as uniforms, bags, notebooks and pens, which can seriously impact their learning and overall academic performance and their future in education is blurred.
Our goal is to ensure that every child has access to the education they need, regardless of their economic background. We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and providing children with a brighter future.
By screening A DIVINE JOURNEY, you will be directly empowering these children to continue their education and reach for a brighter future through the work of Divine Mugisha.
Splicer Films is a proud founding partner to Funza Picha. While working on the ground in Malawi for production, our Field Producer and Photographer, Ivanovitch Ingabire, discovered the local youth’s curiosity and desire to learn photography and videography to tell their own stories.
Directly translated in Swahili, “Funza Picha” means “Teach Pictures and Videos.”
It is the perfect name for a new project unfolding in Malawi — a digital storytelling hub founded by African photographer, Ivanovitch Ingabire, enabling displaced youth to study photography and filmmaking. Funza Picha gives these youth a chance to increase creative skills and share stories from their perspective with the rest of the world. Splicer Films is honored to be founding partners with World Lens Foundation on this endeavor.
The first student class of Funza Picha, lead by Ivanovitch Ingabire, graduated in November of 2022. We are so glad that our partnership allowed students in Malawi to master the art of photography and videography.

Critter Encounters San Diego is dedicated to wildlife conservation and education. Through their interactive animal encounters, they inspire a deeper appreciation for the natural world and the importance of protecting it for future generations.
